Hundreds of Vacancies in Free Technical Courses Are Being Offered in Espírito Santo. Classes Will Be In-Person at CEET.
Are you looking for free technical courses for next year? Then enroll in one of the vacancies at the state government technical schools in ES. Registrations will be open until December 29. In total, 795 vacancies are being made available in 15 free courses with a completion certificate, which will be distributed among the State Centers for Technical Education (CEET) Talmo Luiz Silva, located in João Neiva, and Vasco Coutinho, in Vila Velha, in the northern region of the state.

Available Free Technical Courses in ES
Among the free courses offered in the state are: Gastronomy, Digital Game Programming, and Computer Networks. Each technical course lasts up to two years.
The vacancies are aimed at those who have completed their regular high school education in any school network, as well as students from Youth and Adult Education (EJA) and the State Center for Education of Youth and Adults (Ceeja). Individuals who are currently in their third year of high school can also apply for the vacancies.

According to Tyago Hoffmann, Secretary of Science, Technology, Innovation, Professional Education, and Economic Development of the State (Sectides), the purpose of the free courses is to expand entrepreneurship and generate job opportunities for the population of ES.
Moreover, state authorities believe that the best way to reduce social inequality is through education, both basic and professional. Hoffmann states that, with the end of the pandemic, this focus will be increasingly prioritized.

Classes are to be held in person. However, if the pandemic worsens again or if the student prefers, some activities may be in EAD format.
To apply, those interested in the free technical courses must access the “citizen access” website and register on the platform. Afterwards, they should fill out a form that is in the “student selection” tab.
Applicants will be selected based on their highest grades in Mathematics and Portuguese language from last year or the last year of high school completed for those who have finished their studies longer ago.
The list of approved candidates for the free courses will be announced next month, on the 5th, at 2 PM. The forecast is that classes will start in early February next year.
The retired public servant, Tânia Cavalcante, 59, who is about to graduate as a Clothing Modeling Technician, learned to sew for the first time at the State Center for Technical Education (CEET) Vasco Coutinho, located in Vila Velha.
According to Tânia, she received a sewing machine 20 years ago as a gift from her mother and had never used it. The retiree claims to have learned many new things this past year. In addition to knowledge, she will now have the opportunity to secure extra income.
