City in SC launches public competition with a ‘rare vacancy’ for a journalist, salaries of up to R$ 9,500 and benefits over R$ 3,000

SC city launches public tender with immediate vacancies, reserve roster, salaries up to R$ 9.5 thousand and benefits exceeding R$ 3 thousand, including a rare opportunity for a journalist and objective tests scheduled for July 2026.

The public tender for the Palhoça City Council, in Greater Florianópolis, opened immediate vacancies and a reserve roster for mid-level and higher-level positions, with salaries up to R$ 9,500. The notice was published for a selection organized by Fundatec, with online applications between May 7 and June 5, 2026.

Public tender offers mid-level and higher-level positions

Opportunities include systems administrator, legislative accountant, internal controller, journalist, and legislative technician. The selection provides for 30-hour workweeks and benefits of a health allowance of R$ 1,260 and a food allowance of R$ 2,177.18.

The systems administrator position has one immediate vacancy and a reserve roster, with a salary of R$ 9,500. The legislative accountant position offers one vacancy, with remuneration of R$ 7,327.05.

For internal controller, there is one vacancy with a salary of R$ 5,236.41. The journalist position also has one vacancy and remuneration of R$ 9,500, while legislative technician has five vacancies and a reserve roster, with a salary of R$ 5,395.18.

Public tender applications will be made online

Applications must be made exclusively online, on the Fundatec website, within the deadline. The period begins on May 7 and ends on June 5, 2026.

Payment of the application fee can be made until June 8, 2026. The values are R$ 110 for higher-level positions and R$ 80 for mid-level positions.

Objective tests are scheduled for July

The theoretical-objective tests for the public tender are scheduled for July 12, 2026. The selection will only have an objective test, with an eliminatory and classificatory nature.

The questions will be multiple-choice, with five alternatives and only one correct answer. For higher-level positions, the assessment will have 80 questions, distributed between general and specific knowledge.

For the mid-level position, the test will have 70 questions. The notice states that the assessments may require interpretation, analysis, and practical application of the content related to each position’s functions.

Final result expected in September

The final result of the public tender is scheduled for homologation on September 25, 2026. The validity of the tender will be two years, with the possibility of extension for the same period.

With the publication of the notice, the Palhoça City Council begins the process to fill vacancies and the reserve roster. The organization will be under the responsibility of the Fundação Universidade Empresa de Tecnologia e Ciências, Fundatec.
