New Dairy Derivatives Factory in Paraná Receives Investment of R$ 1 Billion, Occupies an Area of 203 Thousand m² and Should Generate Around 1,850 Direct and Indirect Jobs from 2026.
A new dairy derivatives factory begins to reshape the industrial map of Southwestern Paraná. In Francisco Beltrão, Sooro Renner Nutrition is advancing in the construction of a unit considered strategic both for the volume of investments and for the regional economic impact. The project is completely private, involves about R$ 1 billion in resources, and is expected to start operations in 2026, consolidating yet another movement of industrial expansion in the state.
The works, which began in 2025, have already caught the attention of the state government. Governor Ratinho Junior visited the site and highlighted the importance of the project for the local economy, especially due to job creation, strengthening the dairy supply chain, and the multiplier effect on suppliers, logistics, and services. The new plant adds to other recent industrial investments that reinforce Paraná as one of the most dynamic agro-industrial hubs in the country.
Generation of Direct and Indirect Jobs Boosts the Local Economy
One of the central points of the project is its impact on the job market. The expectation is that the factory will generate around 1,850 jobs when fully operational.

The Brazilian passport allows legal residence in dozens of countries without the need for a prior visa, and most Brazilians are unaware that they can apply for residency directly upon arriving in nations in South America, Africa, and even Europe.
Of this total, approximately 250 positions will be direct, related to industrial operations, maintenance, quality control, logistics, and administrative areas. The remaining more than 1,600 jobs are expected to arise indirectly, spread across sectors such as transportation, supply of raw materials, outsourced services, and local commerce.
This chain effect tends to move not only Francisco Beltrão but also neighboring municipalities, increasing regional income and stimulating new investments. For the state government, major industrial enterprises play a decisive role in transforming local economies by creating qualified jobs and providing greater stability to the production base.
Road Infrastructure as a Decisive Factor for New Investments
The governor’s visit to the construction site took place shortly after the launch of strategic road interventions in the Southwestern Paraná. The restoration and expansion of state roads significantly improve regional logistics, reducing transportation costs and increasing the competitiveness of companies located in the region.
According to the government, efficient infrastructure is one of the main attractions for new industrial investments. Good condition roads facilitate the flow of production, access to consumer markets, and integration with ports and logistics centers. This set of factors creates a more favorable environment for companies to choose Paraná as a long-term production base.
The state also relies on fiscal balance, legal security, and responsible incentives as pillars to sustain this growth cycle. The combination of infrastructure, technical support, and regulatory predictability has been presented as a competitive differential compared to other regions in the country.
Structure of the New Factory and Dimension of the Industrial Project
The new unit of Sooro Renner Nutrition will occupy a total area of 203 thousand square meters. Within this space, about 34 thousand square meters will be effectively built, housing production lines, technical areas, and administrative sectors.
The project also includes areas designated for effluent treatment and internal paving, which are essential for the continuous operation of the plant.
When operational, the factory will have the capacity to process up to 5 million liters of whey per day, a significant volume that places it among the largest in the segment. Operations will be continuous, 24 hours a day, requiring strict operational planning and skilled labor to maintain process efficiency and safety.
Production of High Added Value and Focus on the Foreign Market
The plant was designed to produce derivatives with higher added value, such as lactose, whey protein, and inputs used in the manufacturing of infant formulas.
These products have high demand both in the domestic market and abroad, which increases export potential and foreign exchange generation.
A significant portion of the production will be allocated to the international market, positioning Paraná even more competitively in the global dairy ingredients supply chain. This strategic positioning reduces reliance on low-value commodities and strengthens the local industry with more technologically complex products.
Automation, Own Energy, and Environmental Sustainability
Another highlight of the project is the intensive use of technology. The factory will be fully automated, enhancing productivity and requiring professionals with a higher level of technical qualification. The company also plans ongoing training programs, keeping up with the evolution of industrial processes.
The unit will have its own power substation and will use biomass as a thermal source, a solution that reduces environmental impacts and utilizes inputs available in the region. This approach reinforces the commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, aspects increasingly valued in the industrial sector.
Furthermore, the layout of the plant has been designed to allow for future expansions, keeping pace with demand growth and product diversification over the coming years.
A New Hub for the Dairy Chain in Paraná
With a billion-dollar investment, significant job generation, and focus on high added value products, the new factory in Francisco Beltrão is expected to become a landmark for the dairy chain in Paraná. The project strengthens local producers, expands the state’s industrial capacity, and reinforces the region’s image as an attractive destination for large projects.
The expectation now turns to the progress of construction over 2025 and the beginning of operations in 2026, when the economic effects should become even more visible. For Paraná, this is another step in consolidating a modern, competitive industrial base integrated with the global market.
