The announcement for the Brazilian Navy contest for admission to the Naval School in 2023 will be released in the second half of next month (January 2023). The Naval School is an educational institution of the Navy located in Angra dos Reis, in the State of Rio de Janeiro. The course offered by the Naval School, called the “Aspirants Preparation Course,” is intended for the intellectual and physical preparation of the student for future selection for admission to the Naval Academy, providing basic education at the high school level, as well as military-naval education.
The student enters through public competition and receives high school knowledge and specialized military-naval instruction, taught by a select group of teachers and Officers. Alongside this academic and military learning, there is intense sports practice to enhance the physical condition of the students. The Naval School course lasts three years, on a boarding basis, with a daily military routine in which its students prepare for the future course at the Naval Academy.

- Be a born Brazilian;
- Be between 15 and less than 18 years old (*);
- Have completed the 9th grade of Elementary Education;
- All genders;
- Meet the age limits referenced to June 30 of the year corresponding to the beginning of the respective military training course.
Benefits: The Course is completely free. During this course, the student will receive a gross remuneration, in current terms, of R$ 1,398.30, in addition to being provided with meals, uniforms, medical-dental assistance, psychological, social, and religious support.
