The awaited Postal Service exam is getting closer to becoming a reality, with the DEFINITION of positions for the second announcement. Furthermore, the first announcement, which will cover the security area, already has the organizing institution defined, according to the JC Concursos website. The second Postal Service exam is expected to offer positions for mid-level and higher-level positions, with attractive starting salaries according to the announcement. The choice of the organizing institution is set to occur in August, with the publication of the announcement in September. The number of available positions will still be announced.
Positions and Salaries According to the Announcement
For the mid-level, the position offered will be postal agent, with a starting salary of R$ 2,256.18. The expected areas are mail carrier, commercial attendant, and support.

First Announcement for the Security Area
The first Postal Service announcement will be for positions in the security area, with the organizing institution being the Iades Institute. Although the number of available positions has not yet been disclosed, the positions included will be junior occupational physician, junior occupational nurse, safety engineer, and junior safety technician.
To apply for the technician positions, it is necessary to have:
- High school education;
- Specific course;
The starting salary is R$ 3,543.67. For the positions of nurse, engineer, and physician, a higher education degree is required, in addition to specialization in occupational health or safety, with starting salaries of R$ 6,557.11 for nurses and R$ 6,856.25 for engineers and physicians.

The approved candidates in the Postal Service exam will have benefits such as:

- Childcare/nanny reimbursement;
- Advance on vacation and anticipation of 50% of the Christmas bonus.
The registration fees vary from R$ 57 to R$ 70 for junior safety technician and from R$ 60 to R$ 70 for the other positions.
The last Postal Service exam took place in 2017, with positions such as Junior Occupational Nursing Assistant, Junior Safety Technician, Junior Occupational Nurse, Junior Safety Engineer, and Junior Occupational Physician. Prior to that, in 2011, there was a conducted exam for Postal Agent, including mail carrier, commercial attendant, and sorting and transshipment operator. Both exams were organized by the Iades Institute.
