The Wind Farm in Ibiapaba Will Be Composed of 70 Wind Turbines, with a Total Power Generation Capacity of 315 MW
A mega project is about to transform the landscape of Ibiapaba, in Ceará. With an estimated investment of R$ 2 billion, Ventos de Santa Rosália Energias Renováveis plans to construct a wind complex that promises to revolutionize energy generation in the region, according to the site Diário do Nordeste.
The wind farm will feature seven generating centers equipped with a total of 70 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 4.5 MW. This will result in an installed capacity of 315 MW, capable of providing clean energy to thousands of homes and businesses.
Environmental Impact and Job Creation
The project proposal includes detailed environmental studies that are currently under discussion at the State Environmental Council (Coema). Furthermore, the construction of the wind farm is expected to generate hundreds of direct and indirect jobs in the region, boosting the local economy.
