New Public Competition IFMA Is Open for Registration for Technical-Administrative Positions, Besides Teachers. There Are 56 Opportunities for Candidates from Across the Capital.
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão (IFMA) is open for registration in its public competition with vacancies for technical-administrative positions and teaching positions. Registrations can be made until May 29. There are various open positions for technicians and assistants in areas such as administration, chemistry, information technology, and much more.
List of Positions Offered in the IFMA Public Competition 2023
We have compiled a list of the main open positions in the IFMA competition and some important information:
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
A certification of completion of professional high school course or complete high school issued by an educational institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) is required. Those approved for this position will be responsible for providing support services in the human resources, finance, administration, and logistics departments, as well as attending to users by providing and receiving information, fulfilling all necessary procedures related to them.

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN – AREA: ELECTROELECTRONICS
A diploma or certificate of completion of a professional high school course in Electroelectronics or, additionally, Complete High School with a Technical Course in Electroelectronics is required. Those approved will be responsible for performing technical laboratory work related to their area of expertise, conducting or supervising field activities, analyzing and recording materials or equipment using specific methods, and assisting in teaching, extension, and research activities.
LABORATORY TECHNICIAN – AREA: ENVIRONMENT
A diploma or certified completion of a course at the high school level duly registered by an educational institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) is required, along with a technical course in the sector or a diploma or certificate of completion of a professional high school course in the sector.
This professional will be responsible for performing technical laboratory work related to their area of expertise, conducting or supervising field activities, recording and analyzing materials or equipment using specific methods, and assisting in teaching, extension, and research activities.
Learn How to Register for the IFMA Public Competition
Candidates who are registered in the Unified Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government until the date of registration for the competition or who are bone marrow donors as per Law No. 13,656, of 2018 will be entitled to a waiver of the registration fee.
The candidate may request a waiver of the Public Competition Registration Fee, provided they meet the requirements established in the legislation indicated in the announcement.
Registration must be done exclusively online. The institution will not accept registrations made in any other way.
The registration period is from April 20 to May 29. Registration must be made on the Instituto AOCP website. Those who are not exempt from the registration fee must pay BRL 55 for positions requiring a high school diploma and BRL 77 for positions requiring a higher education degree.
Exams for the IFMA Public Competition
The IFMA competition will consist of an objective test, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, composed of 50 questions on Portuguese Language, Logical Reasoning, Legislation, Information, and Specific Knowledge.
A score of 0 will be assigned to questions with more than one option marked, questions without an option marked, those filled in pencil, or with erasures. To be approved, the candidate must achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible score on the Objective Test and not score 0 points in any areas of the test.
The evaluation will be held in the city of São Luís – MA and may also be held in neighboring cities, if the number of registrants exceeds the allocation capacity of the municipality. The organizing committee may use extra rooms in the locations where the exams are held, allocating or relocating candidates according to needs.
