The Embrapa Contest Will Be for Assistant, Technical, Analyst, and Researcher and the Vacancies Are for Everything from Elementary to Higher Education!

The expectations are high for the new public contest by Embrapa (Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation), which promises to open the doors for 1,027 vacancies in various areas. The announcement of the application opening is scheduled to take place by next week, according to recent information from Embrapa itself. Initially, the document was supposed to be released by the beginning of December, according to jcconcursos.

Registrations and Available Positions

Applications should start in December and can be made exclusively online, on the page of the organizing institution, which will be Cebraspe. The available positions at Embrapa cover all educational levels, with opportunities for the following careers:

Assistant – Elementary or high school, with an initial salary of R$ 2,186.01
Technician – High school, with an initial salary of R$ 5,556.81
Analyst – Higher education, with an initial salary of R$ 10,921.33
Researcher – Higher education, with an initial salary of R$ 12,814.61

These amounts already include the food allowance of R$ 1,075.25.

Appointment of Approved Candidates and Registration Fees

The appointment of the approved candidates is scheduled to occur between 2025 and 2027. The registration fees vary according to the level of education:

Elementary education – R$ 33
High school – R$ 54
Higher education – R$ 80

The expectation is that about 50 thousand candidates will apply for the Embrapa contest, with the following distribution:

20 thousand applicants for elementary education
15 thousand applicants for high school
15 thousand applicants for higher education

The last Embrapa contest took place in 2009, offering 697 vacancies and forming a reserve list. In that selection, the organizing institution was Cetro Concursos. The opportunities ranged from literacy to higher education, with positions such as:

Assistant Class C for incomplete elementary education
Assistant Class B for complete elementary education
Researcher Class A and B
Analyst Class A and B for higher education

For most higher education careers, in addition to education, a postgraduate degree or previous experience in the field was required.
