New public competition full of vacancies at City Hall: more than 1.000 opportunities are open in the City Hall competition with salaries that can reach R$3.438 — be sure to check it out!
Registration for the new Itaquaquecetuba City Hall competition has been open since January 6th. The public competition offers a total of 1.056 vacancies in the City Hall for the Education Department staff and 850 for the formation of a reserve list (CR). The company responsible for executing and organizing the selection is the Institute of Management and Social Development (IGD-RH).

The City Hall competition guarantees the reservation of 5% of vacancies for people with disabilities (PcD) and 20% for black and mixed race people. All vacancies in the City Hall are for the position of teacher, whose minimum accepted education level is a degree in pedagogy.
Salaries reach R$3,4 for a 24-hour work week. The municipality of Itaquaquecetuba is located in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo, just 40 km away from the capital.

Vacancies in the public competition for a tenured special education teacher (51 immediate + 200 CR) require a degree in pedagogy and a postgraduate degree in special education or a degree in special education.
The starting salary is R$3.438,52. For a tenured early childhood education teacher (155 + 300 CR) and a tenured elementary school teacher (350 CR), the requirement is a degree in pedagogy. Both positions receive a salary of R$3.161,18.
Those interested in vacancies at City Hall must meet certain requirements, such as:
- Brazilian or equivalent foreign nationality, in accordance with Federal law;
- Be up to date with military and electoral obligations;
- Be in full exercise of your civil and political rights;
- Be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age by the date of taking office.

Registration will close on February 2, 2025. The registration form is available on the website of the Institute of Management and Social Development, which is organizing the selection process. After completing the registration, the candidate must print the bank slip for the participation fee, in the amount of R$26,50, and make the payment by the deadline of February 3, in accordance with the bank's opening hours.
To request exemption from paying the registration fee for the City Hall competition, the interested party must meet certain requirements. Therefore, blood donors who have been resident in this municipality for at least 2 years are exempt from paying the registration fee.
Proof of residence must be provided by means of a voter registration card and a water, electricity or telephone bill, proof of donor status by means of a document from the Pró-Sangue Foundation, Hospital das Clínicas or another equally recognized body. To be entitled to the right guaranteed in art. 1, the donor must have been a donor for more than 1 year and have been unemployed for at least 6 months.
Selection stages
All candidates for the public selection process will be assessed through objective and written tests, which are eliminatory and classificatory in nature. The objective test will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions, distributed among the following subjects:
- Portuguese language – 10 questions;
- Current affairs – 5 questions;
- Municipal laws and decrees – 10 questions;
- General knowledge in education/legislation – 10 questions;
- Specific knowledge – 15 questions.
The essay test cannot exceed 30 lines and its theme will be referenced to the program content and/or the duties of the positions. The tests will be administered on the scheduled date of February 23, 2025, at locations and times to be announced in the call notice, to be published on February 18.
