The Pontifical Catholic University of Chile has reached the top of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ranking, which evaluates higher education institutions. This achievement has removed USP (University of São Paulo) from the top position and repositioned the Brazilian university to second place. The information is from UOL.
Tradition and Structure
Founded in 1888 by the then Archbishop of Santiago, UC (Universidad Católica) is a private institution.
It offers approximately 70 courses distributed across 18 faculties, spread over five campuses. Four are located in Santiago and one in Villarrica, in the south of the country.
