Other Industrial Sectors That Contributed in April
In addition to construction, other industry branches stood out in April. The food and beverage sector was the second that created the most opportunities. 595 positions were created in the month. According to Tainara Venâncio, “the expansion of pork exports to destinations such as Japan, Mexico, and Hong Kong, for example, contributed to the performance.”
The machines and equipment sector also demonstrated one of the best results, with 448 new jobs. This branch was driven by the growth of industrial activity in the first quarter. The increase in exports from the sector also contributed.
