This is a benefit granted by the General Social Security System (RGPS) of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), which allows certain people exposed to harmful agents to retire with less contribution in the INSS.

With low risk, the requirement is 25 years of profession + minimum age of 60 years. With medium risk, the requirement is 20 years of profession + minimum age of 58 years, allowing professionals with permanent exposure to asbestos and those who work in underground mining to retire.
Finally, with high risk, it is 15 years of contribution in the INSS + minimum age of 55 years, granted only to workers in underground mining and exposed to the association of physical, chemical, or biological agents.
The benefit is aimed at employees, casual workers, individual contributors by professional category until April 28, 1995, and individual contributors who belong to a work or production cooperative from December 13, 2002.

How To Apply For The INSS Contribution Benefit?
Now that you know the professions that can retire with less INSS time, to apply, the worker must present documents that prove exposure, such as the Previdenciary Profile (PPP), provided by employers, based on a technical report of environmental working conditions issued by an occupational physician or work safety engineer.
To apply, the worker should access Meu INSS, either on a computer or through the mobile app available for IOS and Android, log in with gov.br, click on New Request on the home screen, then choose the option Retirement by Contribution Time, confirm personal data and click update, inform the periods worked exposed to harmful agents, and include the documents that prove the right to special retirement.
