The partnership between SENAI and John Deere, which has spanned over two decades, aims to align technical training with the reality of modern agriculture, where agricultural machinery has become true centers of embedded technology.
The Director-General of SENAI National, Gustavo Leal, emphasizes that the collaboration with John Deere expands access to high-quality training, essential for the advancement of Brazilian agribusiness.
Free Course from SENAI: Participation and Inclusion Criteria
The Inspirar Agro program has been structured to be inclusive.
Anyone who is at least 18 years old and has completed elementary school can register, with no restrictions on maximum age, gender, or prior experience in the sector.
As explained by Carlos Braguini, the regional director of SENAI in Mato Grosso, the initiative caters to everyone from young people seeking their first job to workers wanting to retrain or change fields.
The training is divided into three main modules:
- Maintenance of Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electromechanical Systems of Agricultural Machinery
- Standards and Procedures with Emphasis on Safety, Environment, and Technical Regulations
- Behavioral Development for Teamwork, Communication, and Problem-Solving
The first module covers the maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems of agricultural machinery, ensuring that students understand everything from basic technologies to the latest innovations.
The second module is dedicated to standards and procedures, focusing on safety, environment, and essential technical regulations for working in the field.
The third module develops behavioral competencies such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, which are valued in high-tech environments.
SENAI Free Technical Training: Course Structure and Market Connection
The course, with a total workload of 420 hours – being 124 hours in distance learning and 296 hours in-person – provides students with direct contact with the John Deere dealership network throughout Brazil.
This increases the chances of entering the job market, as many professionals can be recruited at the end of the training.
Each participant also receives a personalized kit, which assists in the practical activities of the course.
An innovation of this cycle of Inspirar Agro is the mapping of the organizational culture of John Deere dealerships.
SENAI evaluates the profiles of candidates to indicate those most aligned with the needs and values of the companies, optimizing the adherence between training and employability.
