It is divided into 14 distinct modules. Students will have five weeks to complete this phase. The learning pathways include important topics. Among them are entrepreneurship, the job market, and nutrition. This online format allows young people from all over Brazil to participate in the free Nestlé course.
The In-Person Phase in SP and RJ
After completing the online stage, the top-performing students will advance. Eighty selected participants will move on to the in-person phase of the free Nestlé course. In addition to the classes traditionally held in São Paulo, there will be sessions in Rio de Janeiro. Classes in the capital city will take place at Refeitório Gastromotiva. This space provides daily meals for the homeless population.
Focus of the Free Nestlé Course
The main focus of the free Nestlé Yocuta course is the employability of young people. José Argolo, Business Executive Officer of Nestlé Professional in Brazil, emphasizes the program’s impact. “With each edition, Nestlé sees the impact the Yocuta has on these young people’s lives,” he states. Argolo highlights that the culinary field is one of the fastest-growing employment sectors in the country.
It is a vast area for individual entrepreneurship. He also expressed enthusiasm about new partnerships. They allow for expanded training on critical topics such as food safety and waste reduction. This free Nestlé course aims, therefore, to prepare and connect young people to the job market in gastronomy.
