If you are interested in specializing in the technical universe of musical events, a new chance has just arisen! Enrollment is open for the second edition of Virada de Palco, a free technical course that offers training for roadies, essential professionals in the technical support of shows and performances.
With classes scheduled to take place from the 27th to the 31st of this month, the free technical course aims to train its participants in practical and theoretical skills to work as stage assistants.
Government Support and Implementation in Two Locations
The initiative, which features an investment of R$ 100 thousand from the Culture Support Fund (FAC), is promoted with the support of the Government of the Federal District. Classes will be held in person in two administrative regions of the DF: Ceilândia and Recanto das Emas.

In Ceilândia, activities will take place at Jovem de Expressão, from 9 AM to 12 PM. In Recanto das Emas, the course will be held at the Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB), in the afternoon, from 2 PM to 6 PM. To facilitate transportation, the organization will provide free transportation for students from the Recanto class, with expected departures and returns from the Rodoviária do Plano Piloto.
Curriculum and Certification
With a total workload of 20 hours per class, the free technical course will cover everything from introductory concepts about the role of a roadie to specific practices, such as handling instruments, using technical equipment, and stage organization. At the end, all approved participants will receive a completion certificate, adding value to their resumes and increasing their chances of entering the events market.

Registrations must be made by filling out the online form of the project (access here). However, it is worth noting that enrollment does not automatically guarantee a spot. Classes will have a maximum capacity of 15 students, and women and persons with disabilities will have priority in the selection process.
