The remaining spots in free courses are aimed at general competition, with distribution among different categories: candidates with gross family income equal to or less than the minimum wage, self-declared black, indigenous, quilombola, and people with disabilities.
Learn How to Register and Participate in a Technical Course at the Federal Institute
Enrollment for the IFSC’s free technical courses takes place exclusively online, on the IFSC portal, between September 25 and October 24, 2024.
The classification exam will be held on November 24, 2024, with the preliminary answer key published on the same day. Appeals may be submitted until November 25, and the result, along with the call for enrollment, will be published on December 10, 2024.
The candidate’s classification for their respective technical course will be based on the scores obtained in the exam. If the number of applicants is equal to or less than the number of spots, the candidates will be automatically approved without the need to take the exam.
