The Free Undergraduate and Graduate Courses Offered by the Federal University of Juiz de Fora Will Be in EaD Format

Free Undergraduate Courses;
For the free undergraduate courses at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, 605 spots will be offered in the teaching degrees in computer science, physical education, physics, mathematics, and chemistry.
The courses will be distributed across 17 in-person support centers of the Open University of Brazil (UAB), and all will be in Minas Gerais, in the cities of Andrelândia, Barão de Cocais, Barroso, Bicas, Boa Esperança, Cataguases, Conselheiro Lafaiete, Durandé, Governador Valadares, Ilicínea, Itamonte, Juiz de Fora, Lagoa Santa, Lavras, Sete Lagoas, Timóteo, and Ubá. The number of spots for each course will depend on the support center and may vary.

The São Paulo government opens 1,700 spots in free courses in the capital and Greater São Paulo, with classes starting on April 27 and registrations available in person or online for areas with high demand in the job market.
Applications for the spots in the free courses at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora will occur online on the Copese website (General Coordination of Selection Processes), and the deadline to apply is until 6 PM on June 14.
After applying, candidates for the free undergraduate and graduate courses at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora must print the GRU (Union Payment Guide) corresponding to the application fee of R$ 150, and make the payment respecting banking compensation times, exclusively at Banco do Brasil.
Free Graduate Courses
The spots at the graduate level, offered by the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, are for free specialization courses in sports and inclusive activities for people with disabilities; biological sciences; and history and culture in contemporary Brazil. In total, there will be 486 spots available, with 162 for each offered option.
The application forms will be available on the Cead website of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora until July 1. Additionally, candidates for the offered free courses must review the notice and the form related to the chosen course and check the documentation to be submitted.
Furthermore, candidates for the free courses must have a minimum educational background of a degree in specific knowledge areas for each course offered by the Federal University, which must be recognized by MEC (Ministry of Education). The graduate courses have a minimum curricular program of 360 hours.
Each free course offered has a projected total duration of 12 to 18 months, including the Final Course Work (TCC).

The graduate course in sports and inclusive activities for people with disabilities has spots in the centers of São João Del Rei, Bicas, Divinópolis, Cataguases, Ubá, and Itamonte.
Also, the graduate spots for the biological sciences course are for the centers in Juiz de Fora, Ubá, Andrelândia, Santa Rita de Caldas, and Itamonte.
The graduate course in History and Culture in Contemporary Brazil, from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, on the other hand, will receive students in the centers of Juiz de Fora, Bicas, Cataguases, Conselheiro Lafaiete, and Lavras.
