Due to the pandemic, demand for online and free courses has increased. FGV, Fundação Bradesco, Senai, Senac and other institutions are offering courses completely free of charge on September 01st. Courses cover the areas of information technology, entrepreneurship, finance, economics, education, engineering, design, mathematics, management and much more.

- Brasil Mais Digital is a Softex project that aims to train future technology professionals based on the main demands of the market. Its EAD platform offers more than 40 free and online courses, all with certificates, offered by companies in the field, such as Microsoft and TOTVS.
- EdX has more than 2000 free online courses related to numerous fields of knowledge from 140 educational institutions around the world. Among them, Harvard, Berkeley and MIT. At EdX, certificates are paid and prices vary.
- Fundação Estudar – of which the Na Pratica portal is one of the initiatives – provides online and free Self-Knowledge Online courses, which also offer a free certificate.
- Fundação Getúlio Vargas offers 60 free online courses with certificates in areas such as Public Administration, Economics, Finance, Education, Humanities, Business, among others.
- Coursera offers training content in various areas of the technology field in partnership with more than 190 companies and universities, such as Google, IBM, Stanford and UPenn.
- The National Service for Industrial Learning (SENAI) has 12 free online courses with certification.
- To help entrepreneurs prepare for an increasingly digital market amid isolation efforts, Omie, a management platform for Small and Medium Enterprises, released access to all entrepreneurial education content on its Omie.Academy educational platform.
- Rock University, by Rock Content, offers free courses with certificates on content marketing, web content production, inbound marketing, outbound marketing and the WordPress platform.
- Intelbras, a Brazilian industry that develops technologies, offers 157 free online courses through its Technology Training Center — iTEC. The trainings are completely free, have a workload that varies from 15 minutes to 25 hours and students receive certificates upon completion.
- Kadenze brings together major universities (such as CalArts and Paris College of Arts) and companies in courses in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Design, Music and Mathematics (the field known as STEAM).
- Fundação Bradesco has a virtual school with free courses, with certification, in the areas of Administration, Accounting and Finance, Development, Basic Education and Pedagogy and Informatics.
- The Virtual School of Government has online and free courses with certificates in various topics related to the public sector, such as Public Policy Management, Digital Government and Union Resources.
- The Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (SEBRAE) offers free courses with certificates in Entrepreneurship, Cooperation, Finance, Innovation, Laws, Market and Sales, Organization, People and Planning.
- Senac EAD released several courses free of charge. According to Senac, course participants will receive certified certificates valid throughout the national territory.
- The social network offers courses focused on marketing, mainly aimed at digital businesses to make better use of its tools.
