Cymco Alimentos, a national reference in the frozen food sector, has just inaugurated a new factory in Araucária, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba, marking the beginning of a strategic phase for the company.
With a modern structure and technology focused on automation, the new plant will allow a significant leap in production capacity and open the way for the expansion of the portfolio, entry into retail, and new distribution channels.
The company’s goal is ambitious: to reach 10,000 points of sale by 2026 and achieve a revenue of R$ 500 million by the end of the decade.

New Factory Marks Restructuring of Cymco Alimentos’ Industrial Capacity
The new unit, with 2,800 m² of built area and a 10-meter ceiling, represents a significant evolution compared to the previous structure, which operated in Curitiba since 2013 with only 800 m².
This modernization will allow Cymco Alimentos to nearly triple its monthly production, increasing from 380 to 950 tons.
According to Frederico Cymbalista, founder of the company, the old space was no longer sufficient to meet the growing demand.
“For a long time, we operated at the limit: without docks, without space for new equipment, and with production running 24 hours a day to meet demand,” he states.
One of the pillars of the new factory is the application of Industry 4.0 concepts.
The plant was designed to enable digital integration and progressive automation of the production processes. This will provide more agility, quality control, and operational efficiency.
“Our priority at this moment is to ensure the consistency and quality of products while we advance with the expansion. Our growth has always been based on the trust of our business partners, and now we have the structure to go further, with strategy and agility. We are studying the best ways to further automate our industrial management; we have already taken the first steps, and in the coming years, automation will be a growing focus,” highlights Cymbalista.
The expectation is that the new unit will reach full operation by the end of the first half of 2025.
Expanded Portfolio and New Launches on the Way
Cymco Alimentos is already recognized in the sector for its line of frozen foods, with a highlight on pão de queijo, its main product.
Also part of the catalog are items like chipa, cheese sticks, and tapioca bites, all developed to offer quality and performance in food service.
With the new structure, the company will have the capacity to develop and launch new products aligned with the demands of the modern consumer.
New products are expected for the second half of 2025, and diversification will be a strategic priority for the brand.
Commercial Expansion Aims at New Channels and Presence in Food Retail
Currently present in about 3,500 points of sale, Cymco Alimentos aims to more than double its presence by 2026.
To achieve that, it plans to intensify its operations in food service, open fronts in traditional food retail, and implement direct-to-consumer sales using its own digital channels and regional reseller networks.
The plan foresees a presence in at least 600 supermarkets by the end of 2025, through partnerships with wholesalers and regional retail chains.
“We have always believed in growing consistently. This new phase is not about being bigger but about being better, faster, and closer to our audience. The Brazilian consumer is more demanding, and food service is more streamlined, and that requires products that deliver operational performance without sacrificing flavor and texture. That is our differential; moreover, everything we have built came from a team that is committed and years of disciplined reinvestment. Now, we have the structure to dream bigger,” highlights the founder.
In addition to the infrastructure, the growth of Cymco Alimentos is anchored in its team, composed of more than 150 direct employees.
The internal culture, focused on excellence and commitment to the end consumer, has been essential to sustain the brand’s growth over the years.
Long-Term Vision: Modular Structure and Sustainable Growth of the New Factory
The new factory was designed to be expandable and adaptable, with a modular structure that allows for future expansions according to market evolution.
This approach guarantees Cymco Alimentos the necessary flexibility to innovate quickly and meet the demands of different channels and regions.
With the new plant in operation and a robust business plan, the Paraná-based company is positioned to become one of the national leaders in the frozen food segment while maintaining its commitment to quality, innovation, and closeness to the consumer.
The investment in the new factory is not just a response to Cymco Alimentos’ recent growth but the foundation for a strategic transformation.
With a focus on technology, diversification, and commercial expansion, the company is taking a strong step towards reaching a new level in the Brazilian market.
