Equatorial Institute Announces New Edition of the Announcement with Increased Resources to Strengthen Social Projects
The Equatorial Institute, responsible for social actions in the territories served by the Equatorial Energy Group, launched on November 18, 2025, at 2 PM (Brasília time), the second edition of the Equatorial Dialogues Announcement, which this time will reach the public with a total investment of R$ 4 million. This amount, according to Janaina Ali, sustainability executive of the Institute, represents a significant advancement compared to the R$ 3 million invested in the previous edition. With this, the Institute reinforces its commitment to community projects developed in the states of Maranhão, Pará, Piauí, Alagoas, Amapá, Goiás and 72 municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul, expanding territorial reach and strengthening social impact.
Moreover, and equally important, the announcement is open exclusively to Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) that have, demonstrably, at least two years of establishment and formal operation, ensuring that only entities with validated trajectories can participate. Additionally, projects aligned with creative economy and territorial actions will receive extra points, encouraging initiatives that directly engage with the cultural and economic identity of each region.
Applications are open from November 18 to December 18, 2025, and can be made through the link available in the bio of the official profile @institutoequatorial on Instagram or via the social investor platform. All rules, criteria, and guidelines are detailed in the announcement itself.

Results of the Previous Edition
The previous edition impacted over 107 thousand people, and also received 424 applications, selecting 151 projects. Thus, the announcement consolidated actions in entrepreneurship, training, education, sustainability, and employability, broadly strengthening communities.
The supported projects included 41 entrepreneurship initiatives, 31 professional training, 42 education, 30 sustainability, and 7 employability initiatives, thereby expanding territorial impact. Moreover, 14 projects served quilombola communities and 2 initiatives operated in indigenous territories, reinforcing commitment to inclusion.
Institutional Mission
According to Janaina Ali, sustainability executive, “the announcement strengthens community leadership and supports priorities defined by the communities themselves, thus promoting sustainable transformation through dialogue and respect”. In this way, the Institute reaffirms its ethical and transparent operations.
The Equatorial Institute has already allocated R$ 34 million directly to communities since its inception, and therefore continues to expand partnerships, active listening, and social collaboration, always focused on reducing inequalities and strengthening lasting community initiatives.
