The Mayor of Macaé, Welberth Rezende, Announced the Creation of Vacancies for Technical Professional Courses
In a meeting, the mayor of Macaé, Welberth Rezende announced last week the opening of around 5,000 vacancies in specialized technical courses to meet future employment opportunities at the Port Terminal of Macaé – Tepor, which is under construction in São José do Barreto.

Job Creation at the Port Terminal:
The new technical professional course will be linked by the Deputy Secretariat of Professional Qualification, connected to the Secretariat of Economic Development, Labor and Income, which aims to ensure the preparation of the local population for the filling of future vacancies at the port terminal.
According to the city’s estimates, the implementation of the new terminal could generate 2,000 new jobs in the city, and the expectation is that this number will increase to 17,000 in the first three years of business operation.

The meeting, which was held in the office of the mayor of Macaé, also had the participation of the Deputy Secretary of Professional Qualification, Denis Madureira, councilman Luciano Diniz and José Carramenha, who is a businessman and responsible for the construction of the port terminal.
The Deputy Secretary of Professional Qualification, Denis Madureira, said that “Our proposal is to seek partnerships with more educational institutions, such as Faetec (Foundation for Support to Technical Schools), for example. This agreement with Tepor is part of the actions promoted in the mayor Welberth Rezende’s government plan, which prioritizes economic development.”
