The Kerui Method Issued an Official Statement on This Day 28 Informing That Its UPGN Contract at Comperj Has Mostly Professionals from Conleste

After Petrobras announced the interruption of the Comperj project, possibly to build a thermoelectric plant and a lubricants factory, the atmosphere has been tense in Itaboraí when it comes to job openings. Despite this, the Kerui Method consortium, which is constructing the UPGN that will process the pre-salt gas from route 3, releases a statement about the number of workers hired in Conleste, read below:

Kerui Method, the company executing the implementation work of the Natural Gas Processing Unit of Project Route 3, informs that since the beginning of its mobilization it has maintained a local labor hiring rate of over 99%.

The numbers reflect the consistency with the commitment to local development and the partnership with Conleste. KM is also a sponsor of regional events like Ita Gas & Oil, Copa do Conleste, and participates in relevant social projects such as Tecendo Redes, focused on combating child sexual violence, and the Young Apprentice Program, aimed at training youth from communities.

It is important to clarify that local labor refers to professionals residing in the cities that are part of the Intermunicipal Consortium for Development of Leste Fluminense – Conleste, which includes the municipalities of: Niterói, São Gonçalo, Itaboraí, Rio Bonito, Maricá, Tanguá, Cachoeiras de Macacu, Casimiro de Abreu, Silva Jardim, Araruama, Saquarema, Guapimirim, Magé, Nova Friburgo, and Teresópolis.

The recruitment and selection process occurs transparently, always prioritizing local labor hiring. The selection of professionals is made through a private database, created through the registration of thousands of resumes at the address: curriculo@kerui-metodo.com.br. It is also worth noting that there is currently no motivation to hire labor outside the region, except for areas where there are no qualified individuals for the required activities.

Today, Kerui Method has about 1,400 direct labor employees, the vast majority being from the Conleste region (99.93%).

Therefore, KM reaffirms its role as a driver of economic and social development, prioritizing the hiring of local labor, especially for field activities (helper, bricklayer, plumber, welder, painter, gas worker, among others).

Finally, Kerui Method, through its social media, seeks to maintain a transparent relationship with society, sharing relevant information about the construction of the UPGN of Route 3, such as key milestones, campaigns, social projects, among others.
