Free training in the aerospace industry enters a new round with limited spots, in-person stages, and focus on technical training for production, gathering opportunities in the interior of São Paulo and a selection process with high competition.
Embraer has opened registrations for 160 free spots in the Aeronautical Production Assistant course, conducted in partnership with Senai, with opportunities distributed between units in São José dos Campos and Botucatu.
The training is aimed at residents of five cities in the interior of São Paulo and requires a completed high school education, a minimum age of 18 years, and technical training in industrial areas.
Classes start in May, following a selection process with in-person stages still in April.

Arauco opens 200 spots in a free course for drivers who want to obtain a CNH D; the Driver School project is a partnership between the Chilean company and the State Government and SEST SENAT.
The program is part of the PQE, which stands for External Qualification Program, a corporate initiative by Embraer that seeks to prepare professionals to work in activities related to aeronautical production.
The aim is to offer initial technical training with a direct focus on employability, although the company emphasizes that there is no guarantee of hiring at the end of the course.
Embraer Senai Vacancies: regional distribution and number of candidates
The total offer of vacancies has been divided between two regional fronts, with specific participation criteria and distinct limits of candidates per unit.
In São José dos Campos, the course will be taught at Senai Santos Dumont, while in Botucatu classes will take place at Senai Luiz Massa. In practice, the division occurs as follows:
- São José dos Campos (also serves Jacareí and Caçapava)
64 spots available
Limit of 320 candidates in the selection process
- Botucatu (also serves São Manuel)
96 spots available
Limit of 480 candidates in the selection process
Together, the two selections can gather up to 800 applicants in the first stage, respecting the order of registration and the mandatory criteria defined by the organization.
Aeronautical Production Course: workload and operation
The training has a total workload of 160 hours, with daily in-person classes of four hours, from Monday to Friday.
In São José dos Campos, there are classes in the morning, afternoon, and evening, while in Botucatu the offering occurs in the morning and afternoon shifts.
During the course, participants will have access to theoretical and practical content aimed at the routine of the aerospace industry.
The activities include technical fundamentals and operational concepts related to production, with an emphasis on areas such as electrical and mechanical, according to the teaching center.
Although the course is free, participants will have to cover transportation and food costs throughout the training.
The selected students are classified as scholarship holders and must fulfill the full workload required by the program.
Requirements to participate in the Embraer course
To participate, it is necessary to meet a series of criteria defined by Embraer, which seeks candidates with prior technical background and availability for in-person dedication.
Among the mandatory requirements are:
• Completed high school
• Minimum age of 18 years by April 2026
• Residence in the cities served by each unit
• Not having previously worked at Embraer
In addition, a technical or vocational education in industrial areas is required.
The list includes courses such as mechanics, electricity, electrotechnics, electromechanics, mechatronics, industrial automation, welding, painting, among other similar fields.
Another point outlined in the announcement is the reservation of 30% of the spots for underrepresented social groups, such as women, people over 50 years old, and Black and mixed-race individuals, a criterion that also influences later stages of the selection process.
Embraer selection process: test, interviews, and stages
The selection process consists of eliminatory and classificatory phases, which combine technical evaluation and behavioral analysis.
The first stage consists of online registration, limited to candidates who meet the requirements within the maximum number allowed per center.
Next, the registered candidates will take an in-person technical test, scheduled for different dates according to the unit:
• April 25 — Senai Santos Dumont, in São José dos Campos
• April 26 — Senai Luiz Massa, in Botucatu
The assessment includes multiple-choice questions on logical-mathematical reasoning and continuous improvement concepts, especially related to Lean philosophy.
To advance, it is necessary to achieve at least 70% proficiency.
The results of this phase will be announced at the end of April, initiating the stage of group dynamics and in-person interviews, scheduled to take place between May 4 and 13.
In this phase, the panel evaluates competencies such as communication, organization, teamwork, and coherence between professional background and course proposal.
Classification criteria and start of classes
In case of a tie, the organization establishes a priority order that considers complete technical training in industrial areas, residence in the city of the hub, belonging to underrepresented groups, specific performance in the exam, and older age.
The enrollment of approved candidates is scheduled for May 18, with classes starting the following day.
There is also a provision for a second call until May 22, if there are remaining vacancies after the initial call.
By structuring the process this way, Embraer reinforces a qualification strategy directed towards the industry, focusing on practical skills and alignment with the production standards required by the aerospace sector.
How to enroll in the Embraer course
Applications must be made exclusively through the Gupy platform between April 13 and 16, 2026, by filling in personal data, proving the mandatory requirements, and choosing the preferred time for the classes.
Access to the selection process is limited and follows the order of registration, meaning that only the first candidates who meet the criteria will be called for the in-person exam.
For this reason, the recommendation is to complete the registration in advance and review all information before submission.
No fee is charged at any stage of the process, but the candidate must monitor all communications through the platform itself, as calls, schedules, and results will be disclosed exclusively through this channel.
