EaD Technical Course with practical training at XCMG
Lasting 18 months, the course combines distance learning theoretical classes with in-person activities developed at the XCMG unit in Pouso Alegre, and also at the Campus Três Corações facilities.
In this hybrid model, students undergo technical training in Mechanics while participating in practical routines linked to the Young Apprentice Program, which provides for formal employment during the apprenticeship period.
As a partner in the initiative, XCMG monitors the stages following the electronic lottery and will be responsible for the admission exams and document verification of the selected candidates.
After the lottery, classified candidates will still need to undergo admission exams and submit documents requested by the company.
According to the public notice published by the federal institute, the young apprentice will receive R$ 1,425.97 monthly throughout the training, provided they regularly fulfill the activities foreseen by the program.
The hiring will occur within the rules of the Young Apprentice Program, ensuring a formal employment relationship throughout the entire period planned for technical training.
Requirements to participate in the IFSULDEMINAS selection
To participate in the selection, candidates must have completed high school by the time of enrollment, reside in Pouso Alegre, and be available to fulfill the in-person practical workload required by the company.
Furthermore, the public notice establishes an age range between 18 and 22 years incomplete, a rule that does not apply to candidates with disabilities, as legally provided by the Young Apprentice Program.
In the case of male candidates, the responsible committee may also require proof of military service discharge during document analysis.
The requirement of residency in Pouso Alegre appears as an eliminatory criterion because XCMG informed that the transportation provided to participants will operate exclusively within the municipality.
This operational requirement was included by the company due to the logistics adopted for the displacement of participants during the period of in-person activities.
How the 45 vacancies were distributed
The 45 vacancies were divided between general competition, people with disabilities, and affirmative actions.
General competition gathers 21 opportunities, while one vacancy is designated for the General PwD modality.
The remaining vacancies follow reservation criteria for candidates who fully completed Elementary School in a public school, with income, race, disability, and quilombola belonging cut-offs.
The public notice uses the minimum wage of R$ 1,621.00 as a reference for per capita income analysis.
In total, there are vacancies for public school candidates with income equal to or less than one minimum wage per person, for Black, Brown, and Indigenous people, for people with disabilities, and for quilombolas.
The LI-Q modality appears in the official table with no vacancy available in this offer.
Electronic draw replaces traditional exam
The selection process will have three main phases.
First, COPESE of the Três Corações Campus will analyze whether the candidate meets the admission requirements, such as schooling, age, residency in Pouso Alegre, and required documentation.
After this screening, only eligible candidates will participate in the electronic draw, scheduled for June 15, 2026.
The draw result and the first call are scheduled for the same day.
The third stage will be conducted by XCMG, with admission exams and document submission.
For the first call, this phase will occur from June 15 to July 3, 2026, as per contact made by the company via email.
Enrollment and documents required by XCMG
Those selected in the first call must apply for enrollment between July 7 and 10, 2026.
The final result of this stage is scheduled for July 17, after document analysis and any heteroidentification procedures.
If there are still classified candidates or candidates awaiting a spot, the general call will have admission exams between July 20 and August 7.
The enrollment application for this stage will occur from August 10 to 14, with the final result scheduled for August 21.
Among the documents required by XCMG are RG, CPF, proof of residence in Pouso Alegre, Digital Work Card, voter ID, proof of Itaú Bank account, High School completion certificate, SUS card, vaccination card, and admission ASO with an “apt” result.
