Embrapa Cerrados, in partnership with the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), is offering a free online course, divided into three modules, aimed at rural production, agricultural techniques, and professionals with a higher education degree. The course,available on Embrapa’s e-Campo Platform and UFV’s EAD Portal, aims to promote the adoption of Integrated Agricultural Production, a system that ensures the supply of differentiated and safe products for consumption, aligned with Good Agricultural Practices, according to the Agroemdia website.
Course Modules
- Integrated Production: Introduction
- Workload: 20 hours
- Content: History, concepts, and principles of Integrated Fruit Production, legal framework, and the role of Inmetro in Conformity Assessment.
- Management and Planning of the Rural Enterprise
- Workload: 60 hours
- Content: food safety, traceability, environmental management, disposal of chemical packaging, property management, and markets, among others.
- Cultural Practices in Integrated Passion Fruit Production
- Workload: 40 hours
- Content: technical standards for integrated passion fruit production, agroecological management, plant nutrition, residue analysis, audits, and certification.
Enrollment and Access
Enrollment is free and must be done through the mentioned platforms. The modules are sequential, requiring the completion of previous ones to access the next. The classes are self-instructive, allowing students to watch them at any time.
