Dubai Customization Company Made A Gold-Plated Electric Scooter That Can Cost Up To R$ 248 Thousand. The Vehicle Features A Range Of 150 Km And A Top Speed Of 100 Km/h.
The luxury and vehicle customization market knows no bounds. One proof of this is Caviar Royal Gift, a Dubai-based company that specializes in customizing everyday objects and has presented its latest development: a luxurious gold-plated electric scooter that can reach a top speed of 100 km/h.
Gold-Plated Scooter From Dubai Features Two Electric Motors
Costing the same starting price as a premium car in Brazil, the customized electric scooter is based on the Minimotors Dualtron X2, a model with astounding specifications when compared to its segment.
The model from the Dubai company features two electric motors with a nominal power of 2,000 Watts (8,300 W peak), which is impressive. According to the manufacturer, the top speed reaches 100 km/h, classifying it as a moped for legal purposes. The significantly distinctive appearance of the electric scooter from the Dubai company primarily comes from the 18k gold plating.

Electric Scooter Costs The Equivalent Of A Premium Car In Brazil
For those who can afford and are interested in the gold-plated scooter from the Dubai company, they will need to shell out about US$ 49,000, the equivalent of R$ 248 thousand, a price charged for entry-level luxury cars in Brazil. This, of course, if we consider a simple direct conversion. Additionally, the first purchasers of the customized electric scooter will also receive an iPhone 14, which will hit the market in October, when deliveries are expected to begin.
The electric scooter features dual adjustable suspension, steering suspension, 13-inch wheels, an aluminum frame with steel axles, and items like cruise control, speed limiter, and three levels of torque delivery. The vehicle is equipped with a large battery, which makes it weigh 83 kilograms and support up to 150 kilograms.
The gold-plated scooter’s battery has a capacity of 3,024 Wh (72 Volts and 42 Ah), providing the small vehicle with a range of 150 km under ideal conditions. However, for those who do not want the gold-plated version, the manufacturer Minimotors sells the “regular” version of the Dualtron X2 electric scooter in Europe for only US$ 6,490, equivalent to R$ 32,800 by direct conversion. In Brazil, the model is also available for pre-order on the company’s page for R$ 60 thousand.
