SIEM Offshore Hires Crane Operator Today

Siem Offshore Is Looking for a Crane Operator Professional with Experience Operating NOV 250t Cranes

The international offshore and subsea shipping company announced through its Human Resources department in its official information vehicle this Saturday, April 6, the opening for a Crane Operator position. The company has offices in Rio de Janeiro, Macaé, and Aracaju and did not specify the work location, so candidates must be willing to work in any of these locations.

Registered in the Cayman Islands, with its main offices in Kristiansand, Norway. Siem Offshore’s fleet includes 50 vessels, of which 15 are under construction. The fleet consists of 37 vessels, including large anchor handling tug supply ships, platform supply vessels, multipurpose field support and ROV support ships, and offshore subsea construction vessels designed to meet the most challenging environments. The latest addition to the fleet includes 2 well intervention vessels.

Siem Offshore operates in Norway (Kristiansand) and has offices in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, Macaé, and Aracaju), the Netherlands (Groningen), the USA (Houston), Ghana (Accra), Canada (St. John’s and Dartmouth), and Australia (Perth).

About the Crane Operator Position

Requirements

  • Candidate must have Sparrows level 3 certification;
  • Advanced firefighting (CACI);
  • Experience in operating NOV 250t cranes (AHC/ Knuckle boom crane)
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures, maintenance, and safety standards;
  • Advanced English.
