Black Marketing And Communication Professionals Awarded By The Bayer Project Will Receive Scholarships In Renowned Schools Like Miami Ad School And Perestroika
Although more than half of the Brazilian population is Black, only 3% of marketing and communication professionals identify as Black or Mixed Race. For this reason, Bayer, a chemical and pharmaceutical company, announced a project that will award Black students in marketing and communication with courses at schools that are references in this field.

The Ouse Transformar project was created in partnership with the Clube de Criação, a non-profit organization that brings together advertising professionals. Applications to participate in the project will be free and open until June 16.
About The Ouse Transformar Project
According to the magazine Exame, Black students in marketing and communication participating in the project will be required to develop advertising for the antihistamine brand Claritin, part of Bayer’s health portfolio, according to the guidelines of the regulation.
The winners of the project will be announced at the end of July through Bayer Brazil’s social media and Clube de Criação. The projects will be evaluated by various professionals from renowned agencies and companies in Brazil, such as Camila Rodrigues, Cristina Naumovs, Felipe Silva, Gabriela Moura, Laura Esteves, Mariana Sá, Paulo Damasceno, and Wal Tamagno.
The judges will select the 10 best candidates, who will be awarded extension courses at reference schools in the field in Brazil, being:
- 1st place: Course at Miami Ad School (the student may choose a course up to R$ 8,000.00);
- 2nd place: Course at SP School (the student may choose a course up to R$ 1,000.00);
- 3rd to 10th place: Course at Perestroika (each student may choose a course up to R$ 800.00).
The winners will have six months to choose their desired course; furthermore, the prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or any other products. All applicants will also be able to participate in recruitment processes at Bayer.
