On Thursday, the 28th, the announcement of the EsPCEx 2025 exam was made in the Official Gazette of the Union, marking the beginning of a new journey for 440 future Army cadets. The career, after the training course, offers a starting salary of around R$ 6.9 thousand, standing out as a promising professional trajectory.

Detailed Positions: The Positions Are Distributed as Follows, Maintaining Parity with Previous Years:

For Men: 400 positions, with 320 for open competition and 80 for Black candidates (Afro-Brazilians).
For Women: 40 positions, with 32 for open competition and 8 for Black candidates.

Requirements: Who Can Participate in the EsPCEx Exam

Candidates must have completed high school or be in their third year. Additionally, they must be between 17 and 22 years old by December 31 of the enrollment year and meet the height criteria (1.60m for men and 1.55m for women).

Stages of the Brazilian Army Exam Includes Objective and Subjective Tests

The selection occurs in two main stages:

Stage I: Intellectual exam, including objective and subjective tests.
Stage II: Composed of Health Inspection (IS), Physical Aptitude Exam (EAF), Psychological Assessment (Avl Psc), and proof of eligibility for enrollment.
Intellectual Exam: A Challenge to Intelligence

Essay Test: Expressing Ideas

Candidates will be invited to write an argumentative essay, exploring a relevant theme within a limit of 25 to 30 lines.

Health Inspection: Physical Aptitude Assessment

The health inspection is conducted by the Special Health Inspection Boards (JISE) and only for candidates who have been called and approved in the previous stages.

Psychological Assessment:

This stage seeks to evaluate whether the candidate has the psychological profile suitable for a military career, based on scientific criteria.

How to Prepare for the EsPCEx Exam?

Scheduled for September 21 and 22, the exam challenges candidates with questions in Portuguese, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geography, History, and English, in addition to an essay. The answer sheets will be released after the exam, according to the schedule.

Candidates have valuable time to prepare. The recommendation is that those interested seek the best study materials and dedicate themselves earnestly. The complexity of the written tests, both objective and subjective, requires in-depth knowledge of the area of expertise. Furthermore, physical preparation should not be neglected, given the physical fitness test that is part of the selection process.

Preparation is key to success in this exam. Besides reviewing the specific technical knowledge of their field, candidates should also develop writing skills for the subjective test and essay, while maintaining a good level of physical conditioning.
