In the Official Gazette of the Union on Thursday, 28, the announcement of the EsPCEx 2025 competition was made, marking the beginning of a new journey for 440 future Army cadets. The career, after the training course, offers an initial salary of around R$6,9, standing out as a promising professional trajectory.

Detailed Vacancies: Vacancies are distributed as follows, maintaining parity with previous years:
- For men: 400 vacancies, 320 for broad competition and 80 for black candidates (black or mixed race).
- For women: 40 vacancies, with 32 for broad competition and 8 for black candidates.
Requirements: Who Can Participate in the EsPCEx contest
Candidates must have completed high school or be in their 3rd year. In addition, you must be between 17 and 22 years old by December 31st of the year of enrollment and meet the height criteria (1,60m for men and 1,55m for women).

Stages of the Brazilian Army Competition include objective and discursive tests
The selection takes place in two main stages:
Stage I: Intellectual examination, including objective and discursive tests.
Stage II: Consisting of Health Inspection (IS), Physical Fitness Exam (EAF), Psychological Assessment (Avl Psc), and proof of enrollment requirements.
Intellectual Exam: Challenge to Intelligence
Writing Test: Expressing Ideas
Candidates will be invited to prepare a dissertation-argumentative text, exploring a relevant theme within a limit of 25 to 30 lines.
Health Inspection: Physical Fitness Assessment
The Health Inspection is conducted by the Special Health Inspection Boards (JISE) and only by candidates called and approved in the previous stages.
Psychological Assessment:
This stage seeks to assess whether the candidate has the appropriate psychological profile for a military career, based on scientific criteria.
How to prepare for the EsPCEx competition test?
Scheduled for September 21st and 22nd, the exam challenges candidates with questions from Portuguese, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geography, History and English, as well as an essay. The answers will be released after the exam, according to the schedule.
Candidates have precious time to prepare. The recommendation is that interested parties seek the best study material and dedicate yourself diligently. The complexity of written tests, both objective and discursive, requires in-depth knowledge of the area of specialization. Furthermore, physical preparation should not be neglected, given the physical fitness test that is part of the selection process.
Preparation is the key to success in this contest. In addition to reviewing specific technical knowledge in their area, it is important that candidates develop writing skills for the discursive and essay test, and maintain a good level of physical fitness. The Navy competition is a unique opportunity that requires full dedication in the months leading up to the tests.
