Vessel for Salt Transportation Launched at Sea Represents a Milestone for the Shipyard and National Shipbuilding Amidst Many Challenges
The São Miguel Shipyard, in a ceremony held on Wednesday (07/08), launched another vessel, an important milestone for the naval sector of our country, especially during a phase when shipyards unite against the bill that facilitates the purchase of foreign ships.
The vessel named “D. Yolanda” will be used for salt transportation and will soon be in operation, bringing significant benefits to our country’s export market.
The São Miguel Shipyard is a company of the Bravante Group and is located in an area of approximately 20,000 square meters, situated at the Port of Gradim, in the municipality of São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro.
The São Miguel Shipyard was established to provide construction and repair services for the Group’s fleet and third-party vessels.
