Multinational GE Renewable Opens Internship Program for Engineering Students in São Paulo and Santa Catarina

One of the largest companies in Brazil and the world, GE (Renewable Energy) harnesses the Earth’s most abundant resources – the power of wind, the heat of the sun, and the force of water; providing green electrons to power the largest economies in the world and the most remote communities. Today the company opens applications for internship programs in production planning and lean manufacturing. The positions are for the cities of Taubaté and Florianópolis, in the states of São Paulo and Santa Catarina, respectively.

Internship in Production Planning

Main Activities of the Position:

Ensure engagement and commitment to EHS and quality-related themes;
Development and monitoring of detailed schedules with deadlines and planned hours;
Ensure that processes, devices, and materials are available by the manufacturing start date;
Provide the production order, drawing, and schedule for manufacturing start;
Participate in daily meetings and lead the resolution of necessary actions to manage projects and product deliveries;
Lead technical meetings for manufacturing start and FOE always seeking the best process and manufacturing cycle time;
Interface with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and project areas ensuring compliance with planned manufacturing dates, prioritizing delivery time for customers;
Initiate and suggest improvements for internal Planning of Production tools and procedures.

Internship in Production and Lean Manufacturing

Main Activities of the Position:

Support in improvement actions that reflect productivity with high quality standards;
Support in lean manufacturing initiatives;
Assist industrialization and lean manufacturing teams with related activities;
Understand and provide support on GE tools;
Manage internal projects for product changes or approvals;
Monitor and execute improvement actions reported in the internal GE tool;
Promote continuous improvement actions as well as support in the management of 5S in the factory;
Create standard procedures for manufacturing activity execution;
Provide tools to support incoming inspection, quality control, production processes, and industrialization activities.
