Ares presents cutting-edge technology to the Brazilian Army. New UT30BR2 tower promises to transform military operations with innovation and efficiency

When it comes to cutting-edge technology for the Brazilian Army, Ares Aeroespacial e Defesa is not far behind. The company recently introduced the UT30BR2 turret to the military personnel of the Brazilian Army Manufacturing Directorate, reaffirming its leadership as a supplier of strategic solutions for the Armed Forces. This technological innovation promises to raise the level of operations and strengthen national defensive capacity.

Ares’ cutting-edge UT30BR2 turret is a direct evolution of the UT30BR model, which has been in operation with the Brazilian Army since 2016. The new model features significant advances, notably the COAPS-L optronic module, which offers stabilized panoramic vision and high-definition sensors. These systems enable the detection, recognition and identification of threats with impressive accuracy, in addition to offering advanced solutions against drones, a growing challenge on modern battlefields.

One of the most reliable and efficient systems today

Technically, the UT30BR2 is equipped with the powerful 44mm Bushmaster MK30 cannon and a coaxial 7,62mm machine gun. Its gyro-stabilized fire control system ensures accuracy, even on uneven terrain or during movement. In addition, the turret features stabilized electro-optical sensors, a laser rangefinder and an integrated ballistic computer, consolidating it as one of the most reliable and efficient systems available today, and will serve the Brazilian Army well.

Another strong point is its ability to be remotely controlled and mounted externally to the vehicle, preserving all internal space. This not only improves ergonomics but also increases versatility, adapting to different types of platforms. Ares' cutting-edge UT30BR2 turret technology is the result of years of investment in research and development, in partnership with the Elbit group, representing a milestone for the national defense industry.

More than an innovative piece of equipment, the UT30BR2 reinforces Brazil's technological autonomy and the competitiveness of the defense industry on the international stage. With this initiative, Ares reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the Armed Forces and the strategic development of the Brazilian Army, placing the country at the forefront of global military technology.

Those who think about the future, look for solutions, observe and even praise attempts, are not like a father or son who does not accept advice for improvement, but who insists on destructive criticism. A country is made with constructive initiatives from men and women.
