‘Brazil is the largest complete Textile Chain in the West,’ declares Fernando Pimentel, executive director of Abit. The country is one of the few with production in all links of the value chain, from cotton planting to fashion shows, passing through spinning, weaving, finishing, and manufacturing, as well as a strong retail sector with about 140,000 clothing stores.

FebraTêxtil will be a platform to highlight the latest textile product innovations, focusing on sustainability, research and development, and design. ‘The group hopes to transform FebraTêxtil into the largest event in the Americas for the weaving and knitting sector of Brazil,’ points out Giordana Madeira, executive director of Sustainability, Innovation, and Technology of Febratex Group.
Capacity and Stories of Past Editions
With capacity for 207 exhibitors, the February 2025 edition of FebraTêxtil marks an innovative and dynamic return to the fair scene. The first edition, in 2018, focused more on machinery. But for 2025, the fair will focus on supplies for the textile and clothing industry, such as yarns, filaments, finishing, designs, fabrics, knits, fibers, trims, and printing.
