Handcrafted project of R$ 15,000 transformed a 2004 Uno Mille Fire into a car full of Jeep, Toyota, Peugeot, and Fiat parts
The Fiat Uno Mille Fire 2004 became a highlight on social media after receiving an unusual transformation for a popular car. The model received parts from Jeep Renegade, Compass, Toyota Corolla Cross, Fiat Cronos, Argo, Stilo, Strada, Elba, and Peugeot 3008.
The project belongs to Guilherme Henrique Alves, a resident of Belo Horizonte, in Minas Gerais. Known on Instagram as @euguidouno, he shares the car’s changes with thousands of followers interested in the handcrafted preparation.
Transformation began without big plans
Guilherme bought the Uno from a former boss and, at first, did not plan such a big change. The first alteration was a 10.1-inch multimedia center, which paved the way for new adaptations.

The owner then installed the Jeep steering wheel, similar to those used in models like Renegade and Compass. From there, the hatch began to gain a very different identity from the original.
SUV parts changed the look of the Uno

The Uno received seats from the Toyota Corolla Cross, taillights from the Jeep Renegade, and a central console inspired by Jeep models. The interior also gained an auto-dimming mirror and began to have the appearance of a more modern car.
The cabin hardly resembles that of a vehicle manufactured in 2004. The owner’s goal was always to keep everything with an original appearance, without apparent visual improvisations.
Technologies draw attention in the project
The model gained a electronic parking brake, digital air conditioning from the Fiat Cronos, and head-up display. This system projects speedometer information onto the windshield and usually appears in more modern cars.
The digital dashboard was also integrated with the GPS of the multimedia center. The set also displays images from a front camera, a feature that enhances the technological character of the project.
Details came from various cars

The bumper was adapted from the Uno Sporting, while the wheels came from the Fiat Stilo. The front grille was inspired by the Fiat Argo, creating a curious visual mix.
The rear swing windows came from an Elba 1999. The door panels were taken from the Fiat Strada, while the gear knob came from the Peugeot 3008.
The transmission remains manual, despite the different appearance. According to Guilherme, the piece was adapted to match the Jeep’s central console.
Original engine will still be modified
The Uno retains the original 1.0 Fire engine, the same installed at the factory. This engine delivers up to 55 hp of power and about 8.4 kgfm of torque, according to the model’s technical data.
The project, however, is not yet finished. Guilherme plans to install a turbine already purchased and is also considering new technologies for the car.
Semi-autonomous driving features are on the radar, including brake alert and blind spot. The idea reinforces the proposal to transform the hatch into an artisanal automotive laboratory.
Artisanal project became part of the family
All the adaptations were made by the owner himself. Guilherme states that he learned electronics out of curiosity and always studies before executing each change.
A good portion of the parts was purchased from junkyards or online. Even without calculating all the expenses, he estimates having invested around R$ 15,000 in the Uno.
The car gained sentimental value and is not expected to leave the family’s garage. According to Guilherme, his five-year-old son is passionate about the project.
After all, how many popular cars can mix Uno, Jeep, Toyota, Peugeot, Fiat, and so much technology in a single handcrafted project?
