New Fibrasa Unit Promises to Generate Hundreds of New Jobs for the Population of Pernambuco.
The Government of Pernambuco signed a contract for the installation of a new Fibrasa factory on Wednesday (3), which will be built at the Abreu e Lima Business Park in the Metropolitan Region of Recife. The project for the new factory agreed upon with the Government of Pernambuco envisions the generation of hundreds of local jobs. The new factory will be the second built by Fibrasa in Pernambuco and the third in Brazil.
New Fibrasa Factory and Job Creation in the PE Region
The focus of the new Fibrasa factory, which promises to generate hundreds of jobs, will be on the production of plastic buckets. The agreement was conducted by the Secretary of Economic Development of the State, through the Pernambuco Economic Development Agency – Adepe.
The Governor of Pernambuco, Paulo Câmara, emphasized the high relevance of the new Fibrasa factory.

With over 50 years of operation in the market, Fibrasa already has a factory in the Business Park, where the new factory will be built, and another unit in the state of Espírito Santo, where it currently processes over 25,000 tons of polypropylene per year.
Fibrasa Plans to Expand Its Activities in PE
The company’s vice president, Leo de Castro, in a meeting with Governor Paulo Câmara, highlighted the growing demand in the State and made the decision to expand the company’s activities.
“We are extremely satisfied with the operation in Pernambuco and came to communicate our interest in expanding, as well as discussing improvements around the factory,” said Leo de Castro. Also present at the meeting was the president of Adepe, Roberto de Abre e Lima, who informed that Adepe would make improvements around the new factory.
“We will contribute to improving the infrastructure for access to the factory, investing R$ 1.5 million through Adepe. We do not only work on attracting new businesses, but we also ensure the best conditions for existing investments,” emphasized Roberto.
