Google Cloud Opens 5,500 Slots for Free Courses
Google Cloud, together with the program Qualifica SP – Novo Emprego, from the Government of São Paulo, has opened 5,500 slots for free courses focused on artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
In August, there will be a new batch of 2,500 slots. So, if you don’t make it this time, don’t get discouraged because there are more chances coming up.
Available Courses from Qualifica SP and Google Cloud
There are two top-notch courses:

The Federal Institute offers more than 500 vacancies in free technical courses in Construction, Electrical Engineering, Nursing, Mechanics, Chemistry, Occupational Safety, and much more; the opportunities are offered by IFFluminense, in RJ.

Become an expert in programming in a course that pays up to R$ 800 for it: Senai and Petrobras offer a free programming course that can pay a monthly scholarship.

The São Paulo government opens 1,700 spots in free courses in the capital and Greater São Paulo, with classes starting on April 27 and registrations available in person or online for areas with high demand in the job market.
- Cloud Computing Fundamentals – Google Cloud:
- Slots: 3,000
- Who Can Enroll: Beginners, meaning those with little or no knowledge on the subject.
- Structure: Four modules with a total workload of 64 hours (56 hours of course content and 8 hours of socioeconomic skills).
- Artificial Intelligence – Google Cloud:
- Slots: 2,500
- Structure: Three modules, totaling 50 hours (30 hours of course content, 12 hours of tutoring, and 8 hours of socioeconomic skills).
How Enrollment Works
Enrollment is quite simple and quick. You need to live in the state of São Paulo and be over 18 years old. After registering, there will be some qualifying tests and, if selected, you will receive a notification via email.
Enrollment is open until August 5 and can be done online by clicking here. This is the perfect chance for those living in São Paulo who are over 18.
Benefits of the Courses
Upon completing the courses and fulfilling all requirements, you can also participate in the Job Fair – Opportunity Festival, which will take place in November. At this fair, there will be a lot of internship and job offers. Additionally, if you have at least 75% attendance in classes and obtain the “quality seal” from Google Cloud, your participation in the fair is guaranteed.
Qualifica SP – Novo Emprego Program
The Qualifica SP – Novo Emprego is an initiative from the Government of São Paulo aimed at training and qualifying the population for the job market by offering free courses in various fields.
