Impressive Results: Approvals and Million-Dollar Scholarships
The performance of program participants is impressive. In the 2024/2025 cycle, 97% of students were accepted at least at one international institution, and 75% secured a spot at a Top School.
In total, there were 215 approvals just in the last cycle, averaging 3.7 approvals per student — a record for the Prep Program.
Moreover, 80% of those approved received scholarships, totaling over US$ 5.3 million per year throughout their degree. These numbers reflect the project’s impact on shaping future global leaders.
Currently, four out of ten Brazilians studying at the 30 best universities in the United States are part of the Fundação Estudar network.
The success, however, goes beyond the classroom. Recently, Prep Program students shined in international competitions, winning medals in Math and Biology Olympiads, as well as a silver at the IYPT, the famous World Physics Cup.
Who Can Apply for the Program
The selection process is aimed at students who will be in their final year of High School in 2026 or on a gap year.
Candidates must have excellent academic performance, advanced English skills, and a relevant background in extracurricular activities.
Another requirement is to not be enrolled in any university, either in Brazil or abroad.
Selected candidates will receive a personalized letter of recommendation, guidance on international scholarships, and exclusive sessions with representatives from universities such as Brown, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, and Carnegie Mellon.

The program goes far beyond academic preparation. It includes weekly workshops, psychological support, student clubs led by peers, and panels with former participants who are already studying abroad.
These actions strengthen the Fundação Estudar community, which is now recognized as a reference in promoting international education.
According to the institution, the Prep Program “was created to show that Brazilian talent can compete equally with the best in the world” — and the results prove this.
A Free Path to International Universities
Fundação Estudar reinforces its commitment to opening doors for Brazilian youth who dream of studying abroad.
