New Public Competition of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) Offers 300 Positions for Candidates with Higher Education with Salaries That Can Reach R$ 12 Thousand + Great Benefits.
The Fiocruz competition had three notices published in the Official Gazette of the Union on Tuesday (12). In total, the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation has a new public competition with 300 positions in higher education roles. Monthly salaries can reach R$ 12 thousand, and the employment regime is statutory, with job stability.
List of Open Positions in the Fiocruz Public Competition
The positions are for public health technologist (100), health management analyst (100), and public health researcher (100).
For all positions the salary is R$ 7,879.59, including a base salary of R$ 5,735.29, GDACTSP (80 points) of R$ 1,486.40, and food assistance of R$ 658. In addition to the salaries, those who are approved in the public competition of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation will have access to the additional for educational qualifications if they have specialization. A higher education degree in the relevant field is required for all positions. Applications for the Fiocruz public competition must be made from January 22 to March 5 next year. All applications must be made on the Fiocruz website.

The application fees are R$ 150 for the technologist and analyst positions, and R$ 200 for the researcher position. Candidates registered in CadÚnico or bone marrow donors may request an exemption from the application fee between January 22 and 24, 2024.
Know How the Exams for the Fiocruz Public Competition Will Be
The Fiocruz competition notice will include objective and essay exams, as well as title analysis, teaching demonstration, practical evaluation, and presentation of the professional project and defense of the memorial.
The objective and essay exams are scheduled to be held on April 28, 2024, in the cities of Belo Horizonte, Campo Grande, Brasília, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Manaus, Recife, Porto Velho, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, and Teresina, starting at 9 AM, Brasília time.
Candidates for the researcher position will not take objective exams. These will consist of 40 multiple-choice questions, with five alternatives and one correct answer.
Essay exams will include one essay question related to the area of expertise for the analyst and technologist positions, and two questions for the researcher position. The title analysis step, which is classificatory, will score candidates’ professional experience, technical production, and academic background titles.
Those registered for the technologist position will also be evaluated through teaching demonstration or practical exams, depending on the desired area of expertise. Candidates for researcher positions will be evaluated through the presentation of the professional project and defense of the memorial.
