The Research and Development Center in Telecommunications (CPQD) is open for registrations for its innovative technological residency program. The program offers scholarships for participants.
The initiative provides training in strategic areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Edge Computing, Private Networks, and Cybersecurity, with scholarships worth R$ 1,725.
The program, developed in partnership with the Association for the Promotion of Excellence in Brazilian Software (Softex), promises a complete experience, divided into theory and practice, for students and professionals who wish to specialize in technology.

Details of the Technological Residency Program at CPQD
The course will be conducted in two stages:
Theoretical Stage: from March to July 2025;
Practical Stage: from August 2025 to March 2026, with in-person activities at CPQD, in Campinas (SP).
The training workload ranges from 120 to 176 hours, and classes will be taught by renowned institutions such as PUC-PR, FIAP, and Alura.
At the end of the program, residents will be prepared to face the most advanced challenges in the field of technology and telecommunications.
Who Can Participate in the Selection Process?
To register, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Be enrolled in undergraduate or technical course in areas such as computer engineering, computer science, information systems, computer networks, among others related;
Have completed at least 50% of the course.
The selection process includes document analysis, a technical test, and an online interview.
How Does the Selection Work?
The selection for the practical phase will be based on the performance in the theoretical stage.
Only the top 80 residents will be chosen to work 20 hours a week at CPQD, receiving the scholarship of R$ 1,725.
Timeline of the Selection Process:
Registration: until February 3, 2025;
Selection Process: from February 4 to 26, 2025;
Announcement of Selected Candidates: February 27, 2025;
Confirmation of Enrollment: from February 27 to March 7, 2025;
Start of the theoretical course: March 10, 2025.
