First Price Change By Petrobras On Gas
This is the first change in LPG prices made by the company this year. The last time was on December 27 of last year when it increased LPG prices by an average of 5%. Meanwhile, gasoline and diesel have had four price reductions at refineries this year, mainly due to the sharp drop in oil prices in the international market affected by the coronavirus epidemic.
The reduction in fuel prices at Petrobras refineries is primarily motivated by the sharp drop in oil prices in the international market due to the threat to the global economy from the coronavirus epidemic. Earlier this year, after a US attack that killed Iran’s top military commander, Qassem Soleimani, oil prices reached US$ 70 per barrel.
