Opportunities for EAD Courses

The 2025-2 selection process offers vacancies for courses in face-to-face and remote modes, focusing on democratizing access to higher education.

For EAD courses, 500 free vacancies are available, distributed among three areas of knowledge.

The available courses are:

Public Administration – 210 vacancies (distributed across different cities, such as Canelinha, Criciúma, Indaial, Itapema, Laguna, Palhoça, and Tubarão, with 30 vacancies per location).
History – Teaching Degree – 150 vacancies (in the cities of Canelinha, Joinville, Lages, Treze Tílias, and Tubarão, with 30 vacancies per city).
Mathematics – Teaching Degree (EAD) – 140 vacancies (distributed among Braço do Norte, Criciúma, Joinville, and Lages, with 35 to 40 vacancies per location).

These courses were selected based on the demand for training in strategic areas with a significant potential impact on society.

Who Can Participate?

Those interested in participating in the UFSC selection process must meet two main requirements:

Completed High School: Candidates must have completed high school or be in their last year of studies by the enrollment date.
ENEM Score: It is necessary to have taken at least one edition of the National High School Exam (ENEM) in the years 2022, 2023, or 2024, and attained the minimum score required both in objective tests and in the essay.

These selection criteria ensure that the process is inclusive and accessible for candidates with different educational backgrounds, making access to higher education more democratic.

Enrollment and Details of the Selection Process

Enrollment for the Unified Selection Process UFSC/IFSC 2025-2 has been open since April 15 and can be done until May 15, 2025.

The selection process is 100% online, facilitating access for candidates from all regions of Santa Catarina.

Enrollment Fee: The enrollment fee is R$ 50.00.

However, UFSC offers fee waivers for candidates in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability, according to criteria established in the notice.

The selection process will be based on the ENEM score, ensuring transparency and equal opportunities for all candidates.

In the event of a tie, the tie-breaking criteria will be based on:

Higher score in the essay;
Better performance in the Language and Mathematics tests;
Older age, among other factors specified in the notice.

The final classification will be published on June 20, 2025, and enrollments will happen according to the schedule of each participating institution.
