Lactalis Group Bets on Triângulo Mineiro and Plans Growth in the Dairy Sector with Giant Investment!
The Lactalis Group, a giant French company responsible for brands such as Itambé, Parmalat, and more, announced a investment of R$ 291 million to expand its unit in Uberlândia (MG) by 2027, according to the website O Tempo.
The expansion includes the construction of a new cheese plant, with a capacity to process 1,000 tons per month, in addition to the expansion of the butter line, which will increase from 3,600 to 10,000 tons annually.

In addition to the expansion in Uberlândia, the Lactalis Group will also invest in six other factories in the state. Check out the investments:

In total, R$ 500 million will be invested by 2027 in the group’s operations in Minas Gerais. Together with the R$ 526.9 million already invested in recent years, the total amount invested in the state exceeds R$ 1 billion!

The Lactalis project has the support of the Government of Minas Gerais, through the Secretary of Economic Development (Sede-MG) and the agency Invest Minas, which encourages strategic investments in the state.
The expansion of the factory will not only boost dairy production but also help generate new jobs and strengthen the local economy.
