An Important Step Toward Energy Sustainability

The Interalli Group has begun constructing a solar power plant in Vargem Grande, Maranhão, with two units of 2.5 MWac each, totaling 5 MWac/6.6 MWp. This project marks a significant advancement in the expansion of clean and sustainable energy in Brazil.

Job Creation and Boost to the Local Economy

Located on a 24-hectare plot, the plant is expected to generate around 85 direct and indirect jobs, strengthening the economy of Vargem Grande. In doing so, the Interalli Group reinforces its commitment to local development and encourages regional workforce participation.

Distributed Generation Model and Benefits for Consumers

The plant will utilize a distributed generation model, injecting energy into the local grid and generating direct savings on low-voltage consumer tariffs. With an annual production of 13,270 MWh, the project will allow homes and SMEs to access clean energy at a lower cost.

Commitment to Sustainability and the Regional Economy

The project prioritizes the purchase of supplies and services from the region, strengthening the local economy. With this approach, the Interalli Group minimizes environmental impact and promotes the sustainable development of the Vargem Grande community.

Renewable Energy as a Pillar of the Interalli Group

Solar energy is central to the Interalli Group’s sustainable strategy, aiming to offer solutions with low environmental impact and low cost. According to Simone Matico, energy manager, the goal is to provide clean, accessible, and economically advantageous energy for everyone.

Advantages of Solar Energy in Brazil

Solar energy stands out in Brazil for its low pollutant emissions, reduction in energy costs, and positive impact on the local economy. These benefits meet the growing demand for renewable energy, strengthening the role of solar energy in the national energy matrix.

A Sustainable Future: Clean and Accessible Energy for All

With the new solar power plant in Vargem Grande, the Interalli Group is advancing in the leadership of clean energy in Brazil, offering an accessible and environmentally responsible alternative that reinforces sustainable development in the country.
