Strategic work in Paraná advances towards completion with focus on safety, technology, and mobility between Matinhos and Guaratuba
Therefore, the Guaratuba Bridge advances to the final execution phase and, at the same time, receives high-standard road signage. In addition, the inauguration is scheduled for April 29, 2026, according to the planning of the Government of the State of Paraná.
Thus, the structure will be used daily by thousands of users. In this way, the crossing between Guaratuba and Matinhos will gain more safety and traffic flow.
High-tech signage enhances safety at the crossing
In this sense, IASIN Signage, as informed by the company itself, will implement 127 vertical signage plates. In addition, all will use 3M Diamond Grade Reflective Film (GD³).

Thousands of houses in Brazil have slabs and pillars concreted with construction site mixers, and most owners are unaware that, without strict control of the dosage, this can compromise the structure’s strength and create risks that only appear years later, according to engineers and technical standards.
In this way, the material ensures up to 60% light reflection rate, even in rain, fog, or low visibility. At the same time, five semi-portals and four designed arms will be installed.
According to Ivano Abdo, CEO of IASIN Signage, this is a large-scale project. Thus, he highlighted that the technology was produced at the company’s unit in Curitiba, in 2026.
Horizontal solutions and devices enhance durability
In addition, horizontal signage will be executed with reflective studs from the IASIN brand. Subsequently, hot paint will be applied using spraying and extrusion methods.
Thus, the thicknesses vary between 1.5 mm and 3 mm, which increases durability. Consequently, visibility will be maintained for a longer time.
At the same time, more than 3,000 meters of metal guardrails will be installed. In addition, the project includes seven energy-absorbing terminals, which protect the beginning of the barriers.
Bridge structure connects municipalities and enhances mobility
On the other hand, the Guaratuba Bridge, started in 2023, has a 1,244-meter length. Thus, the connection occurs via the PR-412 highway, linking Matinhos and Guaratuba.
In addition, the structure features two cable-stayed sections. At the same time, concrete piles with a depth of 50 meters were used.
Thus, the bridge has four traffic lanes, in addition to shoulder lanes. Still, it includes bicycle lanes and sidewalks for pedestrians, remaining open 24 hours a day.
It is important to highlight that there will be no toll charges, as defined by the state project. Furthermore, the entire undertaking was carried out with wildlife monitoring, aiming to reduce environmental impacts.
Consortium executes work with participation of major companies
In this context, the work was executed by the Nova Ponte Consortium. Thus, Gel Engenharia, Construtora Carioca, and Odebrecht participate, according to data from the Government of Paraná.
Since the beginning, in 2023, the project has been conducted as one of the main infrastructure works in the state. Therefore, its completion marks a significant advancement in regional mobility.
IASIN strengthens its role in national road safety
Finally, IASIN Signage, founded in 1997, operates in the manufacturing and implementation of road solutions. In addition, its industrial plant has 6,400 m² in Curitiba.
Thus, the unit operates with 100% renewable energy and a capacity of up to 5,000 m² of production. Therefore, the company reinforces its role in the safety of Brazilian roads.
At the same time, it contributes to mobility, economic development, and sustainability, prioritizing the commitment to life — in light of this, how can this new bridge transform regional flow in the coming years?
