This growth highlights the increasing acceptance of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) among Brazilian consumers, who are seeking sustainable and economical alternatives for their transportation needs.
Within this context, BEVs, electric cars powered exclusively by batteries, accounted for 39% of the registrations of electrified vehicles in the semester.
This figure underscores the importance of these vehicles in leading electromobility in Brazil, consolidating their position as the market’s protagonists.

The standout of the semester was the BYD Dolphin, which led sales with 9,611 units. This model surpassed its smaller sibling, the BYD Dolphin Mini, which sold 9,059 units.
Despite a slight decline in sales of the Mini model in recent weeks, the arrival of the 5-seater version and price adjustments due to import tax may reverse this trend.
In third place, the Ora 03 recorded 3,687 units sold, standing out for its competitiveness and appeal among consumers.
Meanwhile, the BYD Seal, with 2,196 units sold, secured a solid position, especially considering its segment of electric sedans.
The BYD Yuan Plus, with 1,332 units, completed the top 5, proving to be a popular choice among new buyers.
