The multinational Honda, one of the world’s leading automakers, announced the opening of registrations for its trainee program 2023. The program aims to hire recently graduated candidates in some sectors who will work in the company’s units in municipalities in the states of São Paulo and Amazonas. The company’s initiative could be an opportunity for many young people to boost their professional careers.
Requirements Set by Honda to Participate in the Trainee Program
The Honda Trainee Program 2023 has 17 job openings available among the units located in the municipalities of São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo, and Sumaré in the state of São Paulo, and Manaus in Amazonas. Those who are hired by the company will have the chance to participate in a program lasting two years, in areas such as Tax & Fiscal Control, Information Technology, Innovation Management, Sales, Credit, Risks, Client Management, Insurance, and Training Center.
According to the company, to compete for the job openings with no experience, it is necessary to have completed a university degree within the last 2 years, between December 2020 and December 2022. Graduates in administration, engineering, economics, accounting, law, marketing, information systems, computer science, mathematics, statistics, among others, are eligible.

Honda emphasizes that this initiative focuses on the continuous development of recently graduated candidates at the higher education level, with the potential to face new challenges and enter a world of opportunities. It is the beginning of a professional journey aimed at preparing these talents for future leadership positions at Honda.
Learn How the Honda Trainee Program 2023 Will Work
As a trainee at Honda, the candidate will be part of a development program, where they will learn new skills every day through teamwork and leadership support. There will be two years of monitored activities, with the first three months focused on gaining a broader understanding of the company’s business.
In this initial phase, the participant will undergo an experience and rotation among the main areas of the company, namely administration, sales, and production. Starting in the fourth month, the second phase will take place, which aims at the rotation of functions, but now all related to the specific area of expertise.
In this way, the trainee will combine their diverse experiences with specific skills. By the second year, considered almost the end of the Honda trainee program, the participant will have the chance to develop a strategic project within their area of expertise, which will require the use of all their experience and knowledge in developing improvements that impact employees, the community, or Honda’s processes.
Additionally, the trainee will also have a mentoring program with the company’s managers, focused on developing their career within the organization.

The entire selection process for candidates will occur remotely, and the estimate is that hiring will happen as early as April. Applications can be made until February 6, through the Honda trainee program page.
The selection process will occur in partnership with Cia de Talentos and will consist of the following stages: application, English test, online tests, ideas workshop, knowledge academy, and hiring.
