The Iconic Hyundai Tucson Is Back! Manufactured in Brazil, the SUV Arrives with a Bold Look, Powerful Turbo Engine, and Advanced Technological Features. Discover Why It Could Be the Most Desired SUV on the Market!

The Brazilian automotive market has just received news that promises to stir the hearts of SUV enthusiasts.

After securing a special place in the market with over 300,000 units sold since its launch, the Hyundai Tucson is back with a new generation.

Manufactured on national soil, the model returns in grand style, with a renewed look, cutting-edge technologies, and a competitive price that promises to shake up the segment.

Hyundai chose an audacious strategy to relaunch the Tucson in Brazil: to offer the SUV with an impressive set of improvements without exceeding the price range of the Creta, another successful model from the brand.

But does the new Tucson have what it takes to win back consumers and surpass the competition in one of the country’s most competitive markets? Let’s explore all the details that make the Tucson 2024 one of Hyundai’s strongest bets.

A Success Story in Brazil

Since its arrival in Brazil in 2005, the Hyundai Tucson has stood out in the compact SUV market.

At the time, the category was still emerging, but the model managed to carve a path by offering an attractive combination of robustness, reliability, and competitive pricing.

The initial version of the Tucson quickly became one of the best-selling cars in its segment, solidifying Hyundai as one of the favorite brands among Brazilian consumers.

Over the years, the model has undergone several updates to keep pace with changing consumer demands.

Even with the launch of other SUVs by Hyundai, like the Creta, the Tucson has never lost its relevance.

Now, in 2024, the model resurfaces with an even more sophisticated proposal, promising a new chapter in the brand’s success story in Brazil.

Renewed Design and Sophistication Elements

The Hyundai Tucson 2024 impresses at first glance. Its bold and modern design reflects global automotive industry trends.

Among the main visual highlights are the new chrome front grille, LED headlights and taillights, and the 18-inch diamond-cut wheels.

The ensemble creates a sophisticated and contemporary appearance that stands out on Brazilian streets and roads.

In addition, the model has received redesigned bumpers that improve not only its appearance but also its aerodynamics.

These changes ensure that the Tucson 2024 is not just an attractive SUV but also functional.

Hyundai opted for a design that balances aggressiveness and elegance, an appeal that should please different consumer profiles.

Dimensions and Interior Space

When it comes to space, the Tucson 2024 offers everything the Brazilian consumer expects from an SUV.

With a length of 4.48 meters, a width of 1.85 meters, and a height of 1.66 meters, the model offers generous proportions that ensure comfort for passengers.

Another highlight is the trunk, with a capacity of 513 liters. This feature is ideal for families needing space for luggage or for those seeking a vehicle versatile enough for both city and long-distance travel.

Technological and Functional Interior

The interior of the Hyundai Tucson 2024 is a spectacle in itself.

The model features a panoramic sunroof that enhances the sense of space and lighting in the cabin, as well as a 9-inch floating multimedia center compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

This ensemble guarantees an advanced digital experience for both the driver and passengers.

For those who prioritize comfort, the model offers front seats with electric adjustments, dual-zone automatic digital air conditioning, and wireless phone charging.

These items reinforce Hyundai’s commitment to offering an SUV that combines luxury and practicality.

Engine and Performance

Under the hood, the Tucson 2024 carries the reliable Gamma I 1.6 Turbo GDI engine, delivering 177 horsepower and 27 kgfm of torque.

This engine is combined with a seven-speed automated transmission, ensuring smooth shifts and fuel efficiency.

The performance of the SUV is one of its major attractions. The turbo engine guarantees quick accelerations, while the independent rear suspension provides stability and comfort on various terrains.

For those seeking a versatile car, the Tucson 2024 promises to cater to both urban use and road trips.

Safety First

Hyundai equipped the Tucson 2024 with safety technologies that reinforce its proposal as a high-quality SUV.

Among the main features are rear collision warning with cross traffic, blind-spot detection, tire pressure monitoring, and hill-start assist.

Additionally, the model comes with six airbags, a rear camera integrated into the multimedia center, and front and rear parking sensors.

These characteristics demonstrate that safety is a priority for Hyundai, aligning the Tucson with the most demanding international standards.

With these features, the model not only protects occupants but also reduces risks on the road.

Comparison with Competitors

The SUV market in Brazil is highly competitive, with models such as the Jeep Compass, Toyota Corolla Cross, and Volkswagen Taos.

However, the Tucson 2024 stands out for its balance between design, technology, and price.

Although the Compass has a strong presence in the market, it does not offer the same level of technology for a similar price.

Meanwhile, the Taos stands out for its interior space but loses points in design. The Tucson, on the other hand, brings together the best of both worlds, making it an attractive option for those seeking a complete SUV.

Impact on the Brazilian Market

The return of the Hyundai Tucson to Brazil reflects the brand’s strategy to strengthen its position in the SUV segment.

With local production in Anápolis (GO), the model contributes to the regional economy and generates jobs.

Furthermore, the launch of the Tucson 2024 comes at a time when consumers are looking for more technological and efficient vehicles.

With a price of R$ 189,990, the SUV offers a competitive cost-benefit ratio compared to major competitors.

Betting on Hyundai’s Future

With the Tucson 2024, Hyundai shows that it is ready to face the challenges of the Brazilian market.

The model combines tradition and innovation, staying true to the characteristics that made it a success in the past while incorporating the demands of today’s consumers.
