Understand the Selection Process for Free Courses at IFSP
The selection of candidates will be conducted through an analysis of the school records, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Candidates for free technical courses must provide the grades for math and Portuguese subjects from elementary school.
IFSP has not set an age limit for free courses. People who are in the 2nd or 3rd year of high school or already have their diploma in hand can enroll and attend the technical courses.
At IFSP, there are two teaching modalities: The technical courses for concurrent students, who are candidates currently attending high school at another institution and only taking the free course at IFSP, and the technical courses for subsequent students, which are aimed at candidates who have already completed high school and will take free courses at IFSP.
Learn How to Enroll in Free Courses at IFSP
To enroll in the free courses, candidates must read the announcement carefully and register on the Candidate Portal, where they must fill out a registration form and a socioeconomic questionnaire.
Candidates can only make one registration for a single course in the IFSP selection process. There are a total of 40 openings available, with 50% reserved for the quota system aimed at people with disabilities, indigenous people, black individuals, and candidates who studied in public schools.
