The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP) opened a selection process with 45 vacancies for free short-term courses in the distance education modality (EAD) on the Capivari campus.

Free courses provided by IFSP
There will be 2 free courses available. The first, with 20 places, is the EAD Research Project Development course, which is aimed at young people and adults over the age of 16, who are studying technical or higher education. To apply for this distance education course, it is necessary to master the technological resources to follow the distance education classes.
The Introduction to Solidarity Economy course, with the other 25 vacancies, is aimed at young people and adults, aged over 16, who are interested in knowing, from a critical and historical point of view, the solidarity economy. To apply for this free EAD course, it is necessary to be in the last year of high school or to have already completed high school, in addition to having mastery of technological resources to follow distance education classes.

IFSP Capivari Campus
Created on February 01, 2010, the Capivari Campus IFSP is linked to the Salto Campus. Its activities began on July 26, 2010, offering several technical courses as concurrent or subsequent in Maintenance and Support of Informatics and Chemistry.
Two years later, in 2012, the IFSP entered into a partnership with the State Department of Education and started to offer free courses to secondary education in the sectors of Informatics and Chemistry. And, in 2013, the activities of the first higher education course began, this being the Technologist in Systems Analysis and Development course.
