Icon of the pet market, PetCamp is consolidated as the largest chain in the sector in São Paulo
The excellence of PetCamp's logistics operations is seen in the market as one of the levers that elevated the company to the leading pet line in the São Paulo market. Logistics structuring for growth will be the theme of the presentation by consultant Luís Carlos Martão, founding partner of ILOGG Intelligence Logistics at the 30th edition of the Logistics, Solutions and Trends Workshop, and encompasses the PetCamp case. The event is free and takes place on November 8, from 8:30 am to 16 pm, at Centreventos Itajaí. It is organized by Grupo Panel Logístico and AO Soluções, with the Secretariat of Economic Development and Tourism as a local partner.
In this case, the expert will show the logistical transformation that PetCamp went through to become one of the references in the pet segment in the country. “A journey that involves the strategic design of the supply chain, including the store supply and e-commerce model, encompassing new processes and technologies, team structuring, a new DC and a new transport network”, points out Martão.
PetCamp was created in 1995 and is now consolidated as the largest petshop chain in São Paulo. The brand's expansion plan also foresees the implementation of 200 stores over the next 5 years. There are currently 44 of them, spread across different cities in the interior of the State. In addition to physical stores, e-commerce accounts for an important share of the group's revenue.

“The technical congress is considered the largest itinerant logistics workshop in the Brazilian market and will address topics related to logistics and supply chain, bringing to the region the expertise of companies that have their competitive advantages in logistics”, assures the president of Grupo Panel Logístico Deivid Roberto Santos. 500 participants are expected, including managers, directors and consultants from the sector. “Our objective is to strengthen the relationship between customers and suppliers, bringing relevant content, innovations, networking and business opportunities to the public”, he adds.
